In pics: Lawmakers undergo PCR test

Kathmandu: Swab samples of lawmakers are being collected for the Covid-19 test from Wednesday prior to a meeting of the Parliament slated for Monday.

Samples are being collected at Lhotse Hall of the International Convention Center in New Baneshwor from 10 am to 5 pm today and tomorrow, according to Parliament Secretariat.

On the first day, samples of Speaker, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the National Assembly, all members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, General Secretary, Secretary and employees of the Business Advisory and the Parliamentary Management Divisions will be collected.

Likewise, staff of the International Convention Center, marshals, journalists, staff of personal secretariats, and security personnel among others will undergo the test tomorrow.
