Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has initiated the homework for expanding the Cabinet again, after the 18th expansion on June 4. Now, PM Oli is planning to include his confidants in the government.

“PM Oli has seven ministries in his hand and he is now involved in the exercise to assign the ministries. He may expand the Cabinet by today or tomorrow,” a Standing Committee member close to Oli said. “Even if he expands the Cabinet, he will not assign all the ministries because the Madhav Nepal faction leaders and some other leaders are also willing to join the government.”

Oli now has Home, Defense, Agriculture and Livestock Development, Communication and Information Technology, Federal Affairs and General Administration, Forests and Environment, Industry, Commerce and Supplies ministries.
