Kathmandu: A total of 3,114 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The Ministry shared that the new cases were confirmed from 10,625 PCR tests and 4,285 antigen tests conducted during the same period.
Similarly, 2,197 Covid-19 patients recovered in a day, taking the total recoveries to 641,565. The recovery rate stands at 94.5 percent.
Likewise, altogether 16 people infected with the pandemic lost their lives in the last 24 hours. With this, the Covid-19 death toll has reached 9,695.
The number of active cases currently stands at 27,757 with 5,574 in Kathmandu, 932 in Bhaktapur and 1,113 in Lalitpur.
