Covid-19 update: Nepal reports 1,920 cases and 24 deaths in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population reported 1,920 new cases of Covid-19 in the country in the last 24 hours in Nepal.

According to the Ministry, 1,702 samples were tested positive through the RT-PCR method, while 218 samples came positive through the antigen method.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 12,516 tests were carried out, including 9,443 RT-PCR tests and 3,073 antigen tests.

As many as 667 cases were detected in Kathmandu Valley, including 483 in Kathmandu, 81 in Bhaktapur and 103 in Lalitpur.

Twenty-four people succumbed to Covid-19 in the country in the last 24 hours. As of Sunday, Nepal’s total Covid-19 death toll has reached 10,509.
