Covid-19 update: 1,388 new cases and 24 deaths in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: At least 1,388 new Covid-19 cases  have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.

Of the 10,297 Covid-19 tests conducted throughout the country, 1,214 samples tested positive through RT-PCR method, and 174 samples through antigen method.

With this, the active Covid-19 cases throughout the country stands at 34,796. 

Nepal also reported a total of 24 deaths related to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry said in its daily update.

Similarly, 2,260 Covid-19 patients tested negative for the virus.

As of Sunday, Nepal has reported 10,714 deaths related to Covid-19.
