Kathmandu: The main opposition CPN-UML is preparing to file a writ petition at the Supreme Court (SC) against Speaker Agni Sapkota and the Election Commission.

UML is moving the apex against the Commission for registering CPN (Unified Socialist) by not recognizing the updated list of central members and Sapkota for not dismissing 14 lawmakers taken action by the party.

UML Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai said that they are preparing to file the writ today.
