Kathmandu: The daily Covid-19 case continues to decline as Nepal reported less than 1,000 new cases for the second day in a row.
On Sunday, Nepal reported a total of 911 new cases with 13 deaths. Earlier on Saturday, the Health Ministry reported that a total of 994 Covid-19 cases were detected throughout the country.
According to the Health Ministry, a total of 7,878 tests were conducted through RT-PCR method, and 3,140 tests through antigen method.
Nepal currently has 26,757 active Covid-19 cases.
As of Sunday, Nepal has reported a total of 10,949 deaths related to Covid-19, with a fatality rate standing at 1.5 percent.
