Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index fell further by 40.26 points on Wednesday to close at 2,889.03 points.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index that measures the performance of big companies also went down by 7.79 points.
All sub-indices fell today with the non-life insurance sub-index registering a decline of the highest 360.72 points.
The stock market saw a total turnover of Rs 4.7 billion with 9,477,717 shares of 221 scrips today. The Nepse index had gone down by 18.54 points on Tuesday.
