Bishnu Subedi appointed Gorkhapatra Corporation’s Executive Chairman

Kathmandu: The government has appointed journalist Bishnu Subedi as the Executive Chairman of Gorkhapatra Corporation.

A Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to appoint Subedi to the post. He will be assuming office today.

A meeting of Council of Minister held on July 26 had accepted the resignation of the then Executive Chairman Krishna Murari Bhandari. The post was vacant since then.

Subedi, who has been active in professional journalism for more than two decades, had previously worked as a Digital Editor and other roles in Himalaya Times, Annapurna Post and Nepal Samaya among others.
