Covid-19: 764 new cases and 1,033 recoveries recorded in the past 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 764 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours.

The new cases were confirmed in 10,688 samples collected and tested in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Similarly, 1,033 Covid-19 patients recovered during the period, taking the recovery caseload to 774,173 till date. The recovery rate now is 96.7 percent.

Likewise, 10 people succumbed to the infection in the past 24 hours. With this, fatalities from the deadly infection reached 11,210 as of now.

Currently, there are 15,614 active cases in the country. Among them, 14,461 were receiving treatment in home isolation while 1,153 were being treated in institutional isolation. While 313 Covid-19 patients were in ICU, 113 were in ventilator support and 241 were quarantined, shared the Ministry.
