SAFF Championship: Nepal locking horns with strong Indian team

Kathmandu: Nepal is playing against India in the SAFF Championship today at 9:45 PM at the National Football Stadium in the Maldives.

If Nepal manages to win against the seven-time SAAF Champion India, Abdullah Al Mutairi’s men will qualify to the final, before playing its last match against Bangladesh.

Nepal is currently on the top of the table with six points, winning two games against the Maldives and Sri Lanka. Likewise, India is in the fourth position with two points from two games. 

Nepal has, so far, played 21 matches against India. Out of which, it has lost 14 games, won on five occasions, and played 2 draws.
