Flights at Biratnagar Airport resume

Biratnagar: Biratnagar Airport has resumed its service from on Saturday morning. The airport was waterlogged from Tuesday due to torrential rainfall on October 18 and 19.

All the flights from and to the airport were halted after the downpour. The flights will be conducted only at daytime from 7 am to 5 pm as maintenance works are underway, said Chief of the civil aviation office at the airport Utsab Kharel.

Buddha Air has been operating nine flights a day from the airport, Yeti Airlines five, Saurya Airlines and Shree Airlines four each and Guna Airlines one.
