Covid-19: Nepal records two deaths and 280 new cases

Kathmandu: Two people succumbed to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,547 as of Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Similarly, 280 new Covid-19 cases were detected in the past 24 hours. The new cases were confirmed through 12,174 samples tested during the same period, said the ministry.

Likewise, 366 people recovered in a day. The recovery rate stands at 97.8 percent. Nepal currently has 6,239 active Covid-19 cases.
