Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) cadres are currently busy soliciting votes for their leaders to win the election at the 14th General Convention.

Leaders and cadres have been busy since morning to seek votes for their leader. They are asking for votes by displaying banners, photos and audio materials of the preferred leaders. Bhrikuti Mandap area, the convention venue, is teeming with cadres, leaders and representatives.

Leaders seem to have given priority to hoarding boards to attract votes in their favor; Kathmandu’s major roads and hotels where the delegates are staying are peppered with them carrying photos of the candidates. Similarly, the cadres have labeled hats, t-shirts, jackets, water bottles, pens and other materials with their favored leaders’ names.
