Kathmandu: Groupwise discussion is underway on a political dossier presented by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda at the 8th General Convention of the party.
A total of 25 groups are discussing the dossier ‘Nepali way to Socialism in the 21st Century’ on Monday.
The major thrust of the document presented by the Maoist Supremo is to build a people’s organization and complete the socialist revolution peacefully by building a broad mass base among the people.
“Socialism is possible through peaceful revolt. We are committed to the proletariat, the revolution is going on in a continuous and systematic manner, national freedom should be defended and we should be accountable to the working-class people,” adds the document.
The closed session has formed a seven-member presidium to conduct the session.
