Covid-19 cases continue to rise in Nepal; 5,087 fresh cases recorded in the last 24 hours

Kathmandu: The Covid-19 caseload in Nepal has reached 815,653 with the addition of 5,087 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

In the last 24 hours, Nepal tested 20,560 samples in laboratories across the country. As many as 13,474 samples were tested through the RT-PCR method, while 7,086 tests were done through the antigen method.

Likewise, Nepal reported three deaths in the period. As of today, Nepal has 18,235 active Covid-19 cases.

The number of Covid-19-related deaths, according to the Health Ministry, has reached 11,613.
