Kathmandu: People have thronged vaccination centers in Kathmandu Valley after the government made showing vaccination cards mandatory in public places.

On Monday, the government decided to restrict gatherings of more than 25 persons in public places. Likewise, anyone entering hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, stadiums, parks, and airports should present vaccination cards from January 21.

The decision has culminated in large and unmanageable crowds thronging the vaccination centers over the last few days. People were found flouting health protocols and social distancing norms.
