Manang Marshyangdi advances to final of Aaha Rara Gold Cup

Kathmandu: Manang Marshyangdi Club qualified for the final of the 20th Aaha Rara Gold Cup after defeating Tribhuvan Army Club in a tiebreaker on Thursday at Pokhara Stadium.

Manang won by 4-3 against TAC in the tiebreaker. The game went to the tiebreaker after both teams could not score in the stipulated 90 minutes and even in extra time.

Franklin Talla, Shiva Gurung, Rupesh KC and Olawale Afeez of Manang scored in the tiebreaker whereas Bishow Adhikari failed to score.

Likewise, three players of TAC including Bharat Khawas, George Prince Karki and Bibek Basnet netted goals. Deepak Gurung and Youddha Shahi failed to score.

Manang will be playing against departmental team APF in the final match on Saturday.
