T20 World Cup Qualifiers: Nepal sets 118 runs target against Oman

Kathmandu: Nepal has posted 118 runs target against Oman in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers on Friday.

In the match played at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman, Nepal notched up only 117 runs on the board losing eight wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, thanks to poor performance from the batsmen.

Aarif Sheikh top-scored for Nepal at 38 runs off 37 balls as Lokesh Bam and Captain Sandeep Lamichhane contributed equal 16 runs.

Khawar Ali of Oman took three wickets as Bilal Khan sent two Nepali batsmen back to the pavilion.

Oman won the toss and elected to field first.
