Domestic airfare goes up

Kathmandu: Domestic airlines have increased the airfare after the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) hiked the price of aviation turbine fuel for domestic carriers.

The airfare of the Biratnagar-Nepalgunj route has been increased by the most by Rs 540. Similarly, the fare from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi has been increased by Rs 445 and the fare for the Kathmandu-Bhadrapur route has increased by Rs 300, Kathmandu-Surkhet by Rs 345 and Kathmandu-Nepalgunj by Rs 330.

NOC had increased the price of aviation fuel for domestic carriers by Rs 10 per liter.
