Kathmandu: IME Life Insurance Company Limited organized its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Dr Ram Hari Aryal, Chairman of the Company Operation Committee.
In the meeting, the company’s financial report and operational committee’s report were passed for the financial year 2076/077 BS.
In the program election for the operational committee was held and a new operational committee was formed. Also, the power was granted to the operational committee to issue the shares allotted to the general public and to complete the task to merge with another life insurance company, the company said in a press release.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairperson of the event Dr Aryal said that despite the challenges of lack of awareness regarding Insurance, lack of skilled manpower, and illiteracy regarding the insurance business, the company has taken these hurdles as opportunities and is committed to dispatching insurance awareness to even the low-income strata of the country.
He also stated that the company is committed to making its services more accessible.
