Kathmandu: Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra just released a snippet of her song titled ‘Jhoot Boliyaan’. She shared the snippet through social media and also a video showing views of Kathmandu Valley.

In the video, Mohapatra is shown walking around in a beautiful saree while appreciating the old traditional architecture of Kathmandu.

Mohapatra captioned the video, “I shot this in Kathmandu when neither the tune nor music nor lyrics were ready. Just had two lines swimming in my heart which I spoke into the phone camera.”

Mohapatra is a famous Indian singer, composer and lyricist with hit songs like ‘Ambarsariya’, ‘Bahara’, and ‘Jiya Lage Na’ among others. She came into prominence as a lead singer in ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

Her new song ‘Jhoot Boliyaan’ is written by her along with Munna Dhiman.

The song, according to Mohapatra, is a love song inspired as a response to Chaand Baliyan by Aditya A.

“This song is my love letter to all the lovely men out there. We rarely get to compliment you or sing a love song for you,” she wrote.
