Global IME Bank becomes first private bank to expand branches in all 77 districts

Kathmandu: Global IME Bank Limited has opened its 289th branch office in Dunai Bazaar of Thuli Bheri Municipality-3 in Dolpa district.

With the opening of the new branch, Global IME Bank has become the first private bank in Nepal to deliver banking services through branch offices in all 77 districts of Nepal.

The bank in a press release said it is providing services to more than 2.8 million customers from more than 875 centers including 289 branches in 77 districts, 262 ATMs, 275 branchless banking centers, 51 extensions, and revenue collection counters, and three foreign representative offices.

Similarly, the bank added it has been making a significant contribution to the country’s economy by bringing remittances from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, Hong Kong, and other countries.
