QFX Cinemas, Khalti enter partnership to facilitate ticket purchase

Kathmandu: QFX Cinemas has partnered with Khalti for movie ticket purchases through the app. QFX customers can now buy movie tickets either from QFX App and website or Khalti App. Khalti users will be able to buy QFX movie tickets in 50 seconds from Khalti app and this service is exclusively available at Khalti app, the company said in a press release.

Prior to this partnership, customers of QFX could only buy movies by logging into the QFX App or website. After buying tickets from Khalti App, users will also receive QFX’s Loyalty Points and Khalti Points.

Khalti is the ‘Preferred Payment Partner’ of QFX Cinemas for the next 3 years, reads the statement. The ticketing feature in Khalti App was live and available for use starting August 17. Preferred payment partner entails various marketing collaborations including ticket purchase through Khalti App, QR placements, branding on QFX website and App, campaign tie-ups, and advertisement placement in on-screen and off-screen branding areas.

Regarding this service Binay Khadka, the chief executive officer of Khalti, said “One of our goals is to become a lifestyle brand for every Nepali.
