Weather to remain generally fair as influence of monsoon weakens

Kathmandu: The weather across the country will be generally fair in the coming days as the influence of monsoon air has become weaker in Nepal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather in hilly areas of the country and Karnali Province is now partly cloudy while the remaining places are witnessing partly to generally fair weather.

Similarly, the sky in hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini Provinces remains partly cloudy and the weather of remaining provinces will be partly cloudy to generally fair in the daytime.

The weather in hilly areas of the country will remain partly cloudy and weather in the remaining areas to remain fair during the night, added the Division.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning at one-two place in Sudurpaschim Province on Sunday. The Kathmandu Valley has witnessed a sunny morning today. Some of the places of the country including Kathmandu Valley had started experiencing cold due to incessant rainfall for around two weeks.

Today’s minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is recorded at 15 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature at 27 degree Celsius.
