Foreign Minister NP Saud reaches London to attend King Charles’ coronation

Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud reached London Thursday to attend the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty the Queen Consort. According to the Embassy of Nepal in London, Saud was received at the Heathrow Airport in London by the special representative of Secretary of British Ministry of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Nepal’s Ambassador to the UK Gyanchandra Acharya and other officials.

During his stay in London, the minister is scheduled to attend the Reception at Buckingham Palace and the Coronation Ceremony at Westminster Abbey, Spokesperson of Embassy of Nepal in London Roshan Khanal said.

King Charles will be crowned alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort, at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6.

Key political figures and world leaders will also be attending the ceremony, according to the BBC report.

Minister Saud will return home on May 9, according to a statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
