Kathmandu: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that frequent incidents of plane and chopper crashes have signaled Nepal’s unsafe sky.
The government would work in a planned manner to resolve the issues of plane crashes by identifying the root causes of the accidents in the aviation sector, the government’s spokesperson and Communications and Information Technology Minister Gurung said on Thursday during a news conference organized to share the cabinet meeting’s decisions.
Saying that frequent mishaps in the aviation industry have impacted the country’s tourism industry, Minister Gurung cautioned about the country’s poor image on the international stage from such incidents. (RSS)
