NEPSE reaches all-time high point, market capitalization nears Rs 3700 billion

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) – an index to measure share transaction in the stock market has reached an all-time high point.

According to the NEPSE, the index has reached 2,674.46 with a rise of 15.72 points.

The sensitive index which measures the share transaction of big companies has reached 476.18 points with an increment of 4.34 points. Over 16.18 million shares of 213 companies were traded which amounted to Rs 7 billion and 477.79 million.

With Tuesday’s transaction, the market capitalization has reached nearly Rs 3700 billion, the NEPSE sources said.
