Eye infection cases up due to air pollution in Kanchanpur

KANCHANPUR: Health problems such as eye infection and allergy have surfaced among the locals of the district due to air pollution.

Most of the patients visiting the health posts and hospitals have complaints of eye infection.

According to the Assistant Health Worker of Jhalari-based health post, Lokendra Eir, daily 30-50 patients with eye infection are turning up the health facility for treatment.

He said that the people with itching and burning sensation in their eyes are turning up to the health post for treatment.

“The problem has surfaced after the rise in air pollution”, he added.
