Health insurance program expanded to 75 districts

KATHMANDU: Health insurance program has been expanded to 75 districts across the country.

Health Insurance Board on Wednesday announced the operation of health insurance programs in six more districts.

Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi virtually launched the insurance program in Taplejung, Bara, Sarlahi, Manang and Mustang.

Executive Director Dr. Damodar Basaula said that the board plans to launch the program in the remaining two districts— Kathmandu and Lalitpur.
