Nepalgunj: Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City has enforced a weeklong lockdown from Wednesday to stem the spread of coronavirus.
District Administration Office, Banke has ordered to halt all expect essential services in an attempt to break the infection chain.
Financial institutions, vehicles and shops have been banned from operating while walking is also prohibited except for urgent work.
Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis has currently 735 active cases, with hospital beds full with patients.
