Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population was warned of stringent action against laboratories overcharging for a PCR test.
The Ministry has fixed Rs 1,000 for government labs and Rs 2,000 for private labs as a fee per sample.
In a statement on Tuesday, Ministry Joint Spokesperson Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari warned that those labs overcharging will not be allowed to carry further tests.
