Kathmandu: Three Province Assembly members of Gandaki Province Assembly have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Bindu Kumar Thapa said that lawmakers Rajiv Pahari, Prabha Koirala and Man Kumari Gurung have tested positive.

Koirala and Pahari are lawmakers from UML while Gurung represents NC. UML lawmakers had obstructed the meeting demanding to perform a PCR test on Province Assembly members.

The Business Advisory Committee has decided that infected lawmakers will not be allowed to address the meeting.

However, they will be allowed to vote on the no-confidence motion filed against Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung.
