Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and Federal Council Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party Baburam Bhattarai underwent successful surgery for a neuroendocrine tumor on Friday.
A team of doctors at Bir Hospital Dr Subodh Adhikari performed the surgery on the former Prime Minister.
Bhattarai’s daughter Manushi took to social media to thank doctors involved in the surgery.
Ex-PM Bhattarai had undergone tests in India following suspicion of cancer. The test report had come negative.
