Kathmandu: The Supreme Court (SC) has refused to register a writ petition of four members of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).

The apex court declined to register the writ by Santosh Kumar Pandey, Vijay Kumar Yadav, Suman Sharma Rayamajhi, and Kalpana Pandey Lamsal who had moved the court against the decision to remove them as lawmakers.

The SC refused to register the petition saying that it has already decided that petitions others than habeas corpus and coronavirus-related will not be registered considering the risk of the pandemic.
