Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanubhakta Dhakal has contracted coronavirus.
Along with Minister Dhakal, his wife Indira Phuyal has also tested positive for the pandemic.
Minister Dhakal said that the infection was confirmed in the test conducted on Sunday.
“We (husband and wife) have been diagnosed with Covid-19. We are in normal health condition and currently isolating,” said Minister Dhakal, “We urge the people who have come in contact with us to take necessary precautions and be vigilant.”
Earlier, Minister for Water Supply Mani Thapa and Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamajhi were diagnosed positive.
