Former Assistant Minister Chitrakar dies of Covid-19

Bhairahawa: Former Assistant Minister for Land Reforms Prakash Chitrakar has succumbed to the coronavirus.

Chitrakar breathed his last at the Universal Teaching Hospital in Bhairahawa on Monday morning. He was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after being diagnosed with the pandemic.

Hospital Information Officer Sushil Gurung said that Chitrakar’s his lungs were damaged by the infection and he had respiratory problems.

Gurung was the Assistant Minister for Land Reforms during the Ex-King Gyanendra Shah’s rule.
