Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has demanded that the process of forming a new government be taken forward.

Deuba said that the process of forming the new government should be forwarded arguing as there was no basis for Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli to get a vote of confidence.

Stating that his party would vote against the vote of confidence, Deuba demanded that the process of forming a new government should be taken forward as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution.

Participating in the discussion on the confidence motion tabled by Prime Minister Oli in the House of Representatives on Monday, Deuba urged all lawmakers to vote against the motion arguing that the government has failed miserably.
