Kathmandu: Two ministers of Karnali Province have resigned on Wednesday.
Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Bimala KC and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Naresh Bhandari tendered their resignations. They were elected to the Province Assembly from CPN (Maoist Center).
CPN (Maoist Center) lawmaker Bindaman Bista said that preparations were underway to appoint a new minister in the vacant ministries.
According to a source, Chief Minister Shahi will appoint Gopal Sharma and Bista as Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law respectively.
