Cabinet recommends President to summon Parliament’s session on Sunday

Kathmandu: The government has decided to recommend the President to summon a session of the Parliament on Sunday. A meeting of Council of Ministers held on Thursday decided to recommend before President Bidya Devi Bhandari to summon the House session.

As per the constitutional provision, President summons and prorogues the Parliament’s session on the recommendation of the Cabinet.

The government must unveil the budget for the fiscal year 2021/22 on May 29 as per the Constitution.
