NC decides to protest House dissolution jointly with opposition parties

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to protest the dissolution of the House of Representatives by forming a coalition of opposition parties.

The party concluded that the Parliament was dissolved in collusion between the President and the Prime Minister.

Announcing the decision of the meeting of top leaders convened at the residence of party’s President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Joint General Secretary Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said, “The dissolution of the House of Representatives is unconstitutional. We will protest the move jointly with other parties and seek a judicial remedy.”
