Sichuan donates medical supplies to Nepal

Kathmandu: The Consulate General of Nepal in Chengdu has received 100,000 masks and 1,000 Protected Suites from Sichuan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Chengdu AIDI Eye Hospital amidst a handover ceremony held in the hospital premises on Friday.

Thanking for the much-needed support at this hour of need, Consul General of Nepal Dinesh Kumar Ghimire expressed the confidence that the recent opening of the Consulate General in Chengdu will further increase the health cooperation between the two countries.

On the occasion, CEO of the hospital Zhang You expressed the hope that the donated medical supplies will help in Nepal’s fight against Covid-19, according to a press release by the Consulate General of Nepal.
