Kathmandu: The budget session of the Gandaki province has commenced from today. According to the Cabinet’s recommendation on May 25, Province Chief Sita Poudel has called the session to start from May 30.
Today, provincial assembly parliamentary parties’ leaders are going to speak. Similarly, the budget’s principles and priorities will be presented at the provincial assembly on Monday.
Chief Minister Prithivi Subba Gurung will also seek a vote of confidence in this session, given the constitutional provision that he should take the vote of confidence within 30 days of the reappointment.
