Australia provides medical supplies to Nepal Army

Kathmandu: Australia has provided essential medical supplies to Nepal Army to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Australian Ambassador to Nepal Felicity Jane Volk handed over medical supplies to Lieutenant General Prabhu Ram Sharma, Chief of General Staff, at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday. An aircraft belonging to the Australian Air Force brought the medical supplies. 

These supplies are intended to support NA’s ongoing efforts in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, reads the statement by NA Directorate of Public Relations and Information.

During the occasion, Lieutenant General Sharma expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the support.
