Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate improves to 84.2 percent after 6,951 patients recover in last 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 6,951 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 has reached 497,960 in the country. The recovery rate has improved to 84.2 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,472 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the nation during the same period. With this, the number of the Covid-19 caseload has reached 591,494.

Meanwhile, 92 peoples died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 7,990.

The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 17,903 tests including 12,002 RT-PCR and 5,901 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the total number of active cases stands at 85,544. There are 12,059 active cases in Kathmandu, 3,591 in Bhaktapur and 4,674 in Lalitpur.

A total of 6,543 got recovered on May 20; 7,890 on May 21; 8,848 on May 22; 7,644 on May 23; 7,135 on May 24; 6,404 on May 25; 6,716 on May 26, 7,226 on May 27; 9,841 on May 28 and 6,080 on May 29.

Likewise, 6,205 people recovered from the pandemic on May 30; 6,491 on May 31; 6,898 on June 1; 7,219 on June 2, 5,904 on June 3; 8,663 on June 4; 8,243 on June 5; 6,636 on June 6 and 6,951 on June 7.
