Kathmandu: The Supreme Court (SC) has directed the government to allow e-commerce deliveries even during prohibitory orders enforced to control the spread of coronavirus.

A joint bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Kumar Chudal on Monday issued an interim order in the name of the government while hearing a writ petition filed by petitioners including Niket Agrawal.

The apex court stated that online trading and home delivery services should not be stopped to reduce crowds in markets and create a situation where the citizens do not have to go out of the house as far as possible.
