Denmark’s midfielder Eriksen ‘out of danger’

Kathmandu: Christian Eriksen, Denmark’s National Football team’s midfielder, who had collapsed during a match, has come out of danger. According to Danish Football Association, his condition is stabilized now.

During the Euro Cup match between Denmark and Finland on Saturday, Erikson had fallen down on the field in the 43rd minute of the game. Referee, as soon as he collapsed, called the medical team in the field.

The medical team had treated Erikson for 15 minutes in the field. The team even gave him Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. He was taken out from the field on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital for further treatment after he did not regain consciousness.

Finland won the game, which was resumed after around one and half hours with 1-0 goal.
