UML leader Khanal undergoing treatment with oxygen support

Kathmandu: UML leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has been admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital due to health problems.

According to his Personal Secretariat, leader Khanal was admitted to the hospital on Monday. Doctors attending to the leader said that his health condition is normal and will undergo treatment at the hospital for a few more days.

The leader who was brought to the hospital after he complained of physical weakness was recommended for admission by doctors, according to his Personal Secretary Krishna Bhattarai.

Leader Khanal had fever for the past nine days. He has been shifted to general ward from emergency ward and is under oxygen support.

Prior to this, the former Prime Minister was hospitalized at the same hospital for the treatment of Covid-19. Doctors attending to leader Khanal suspects the leader of having post-Covid health issues.
