In pics: Swollen Melamchi River wreaks havoc in Sindhupalchowk

Kathmandu: Melamchi River swollen due to incessant rainfall has wreaked havoc in Sindhupalchowk district.

The flood in the river has washed away a motorable bridge connecting the district headquarters Chautara from Nawalpur through Melamchi and submerged houses.

Locals said that more than 50 people have gone missing even though an actual detail of the human casualties is yet to be known.
