Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate reaches 92 percent; 2,016 new cases and 30 deaths reported

Kathmandu: A total of 4,914 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 has reached 581,327 in the country. The recovery rate has improved to 91.9 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,016 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the nation during the same period. The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 9,810 tests including 4,704 RT-PCR and 4,806 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 30 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 8,975.

The total number of active cases stands at 42,024.

A total of 6,898 got recovered on June 1; 7,219 on June 2, 5,904 on June 3; 8,663 on June 4; 8,243 on June 5; 6,636 on June 6; 6,951 on June 7; 6,570 recovered on June 8, 5,768 on June 9, 5,293 on June 10; 5,225 on June 11; 6,295 on June 12; 3,994 on June 14; 4,187 on Jun 15; 3,082 on Jun 16, 2,141 on June 17; 4,020 on June 18; 3,660 on June 19; 3,456 on June 20; 3,130 on June 21; 4,154 on Jun 22 ,558 on June 23; 2,518 on June 24; 5,455 on June 25 and 4,914 on June 26.
