Nepal’s Covid-19 recovery rate reaches 92 percent; 2,016 new cases and 30 deaths reported

Kathmandu: A total of 4,914 more people have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 has reached 581,327 in the country. The recovery rate has improved to 91.9 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,016 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the nation during the same period. The latest Covid-19 cases were detected in 9,810 tests including 4,704 RT-PCR and 4,806 antigen tests held in various laboratories in the country in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 30 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 8,975.

The total number of active cases stands at 42,024.
